Efficient and effective disaster preparedness, mitigating and management include input from every sector of society; the Regional Platform for Disaster Risk Reduction in the Americas and the Caribbean aims to bring all these sectors together in Montego Bay, July 8- 10, 2020.
The Hon. Desmond McKenzie today convened a meeting with various members of the business sector in and around St. James to explain the importance of this Platform and the benefits to be derived should they partner with the Government of Jamaica to execute this event.
